† Eobucco — an extinct Eocene bird genus from North America, related to modern barbets (Capitonidae). Small frugivorous or insectivorous arboreal bird. Represents an early record of Piciformes in North America. Known from Green River Formation deposits of Colorado/Wyoming.

Carnivore

Eobucco was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
