Barawertornis tedfordi is an extinct large bird, possibly a dromornithid or emu relative, from Pleistocene deposits of Queensland, Australia. This herbivorous or omnivorous ratite-like bird inhabited open woodland environments and represents part of the megafaunal avian community present in Australia before the Quaternary extinctions associated with the first human colonization.
