Medium-sized omnivore from Réunion Island; related to mainland African starlings (Sturnidae). Last observed ~1850 CE; extinct due to habitat destruction and introduced predators on this Indian Ocean.
Diet & Feeding
Fregilupus varius was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
