† Fregata magnificens — the magnificent frigatebird, a large seabird of tropical and subtropical Americas. Piscivore with kleptoparasitic habits; steals food from other birds in flight. Males bear a bright red throat pouch inflated during courtship. Living species with fossil records in Pleistocen.
Diet & Feeding
Fregata magnificens was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
