Oxyura hulberti is an extinct Pliocene stiff-tailed duck from North America. These small diving ducks with upturned tails swam and dived in freshwater environments; this fossil species documents the Neogene history of the Oxyurini tribe.
Diet & Feeding
Oxyura hulberti was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
