Wingegyps is an extinct teratorn condor-relative from Venezuela, a large soaring scavenger. Teratorns were among the largest flying birds, and Wingegyps documents their Pleistocene distribution in South America alongside other megafaunal scavengers.

Carnivore

Wingegyps was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
