Coelurosaurichnus largentierensis

Coelurosaurichnus largentierensis

A Middle Triassic ichnospecies from Largentière, France, Coelurosaurichnus largentierensis preserves some of the earliest tridactyl theropod-grade tracks in Europe. These footprints from the Muschelkalk or Buntsandstein provide direct locomotory evidence of small bipedal archosaurs inhabiting coastal Triassic environments of the French Massif Central region.
