† Megapnosaurus kayentakatae was a species of early theropod from the Early Jurassic Kayenta Formation of Arizona. Related to Coelophysis, this small carnivore provides evidence for close faunal connections between North America and Africa during the Early Jurassic.
Diet & Feeding
Larus occidentalis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
