Meleagris crassipes was an extinct Pliocene turkey from New Mexico and Arizona. One of several fossil turkey species, it documents the long North American history of turkeys and their ecological role in open woodland and grassland environments before the modern species.
Diet & Feeding
Laurillardia parisiensis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
