Ngawupodius minya is an extinct megapode (Megapodiidae) from Quaternary Australia. A small mound-building bird, it inhabited Pleistocene Australian forests and constructed large compost incubation mounds for its eggs.

Ngawupodius minya was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
