This large pelagic seabird hunted fish and squid over the North Pacific. Its California fossil record documents the historical presence of great albatrosses in the eastern North Pacific before range contractions restricted modern species to the Southern Ocean.
Diet & Feeding
Diomedea milleri was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
