† Empheresula — an extinct bird genus from Eocene deposits of Germany. Small avian of uncertain classification; possibly related to rollers or other coraciiform birds. Known only from fragmentary material preventing detailed phylogenetic analysis.

Diet & Feeding

Carnivore

Empheresula was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
