Mengciusornis dentatus was an Early Cretaceous bird from China, known from the Jiufotang Formation. A basal ornithuromorph or enantiornithine, it was notable for having both teeth and a partial pygostyle, representing a transitional stage in the evolution of the modern avian body plan.
Diet & Feeding
Lechusa stirtoni was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
