†Cypselavus gallicus is an extinct bird from France, considered an early relative of swifts (Apodiformes). This carnivorous species inhabited Eocene or Oligocene environments and is known from fossil wing and limb elements. Its morphology provides insight into the early diversification of aerial insectivores in Europe.
