Meleagris californica is the California Turkey, an extinct Pleistocene turkey from California and Baja California. Larger than the modern Wild Turkey, it inhabited the diverse megafauna ecosystems of Pleistocene California before disappearing during the Late Pleistocene extinctions.
Diet & Feeding
Laurillardia munieri was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
