† Matheronodon provincialis was a rhabdodontid ornithopod from the Late Cretaceous of southern France. Its hypertrophied crushing teeth resembled those of modern seed-eating birds, possibly specialized for processing hard plant material including seeds on the Ibero-Armorican island.
Diet & Feeding
Limicolavis pluvianella was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
