† Megalosauropus teutonicus is a large theropod footprint ichnogenus from the Early Jurassic of southern Germany. These robust tridactyl tracks from the Pliensbachian-Toarcian document predatory dinosaurs stalking the tidal flats of Early Jurassic European shorelines.
Diet & Feeding
Lithornis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
