Mergus milleneri was an extinct Quaternary merganser from Jamaica, part of the endemic Caribbean duck fauna. This large diving duck occupied freshwater rivers and coastal estuaries before going extinct following human colonization of Jamaica.
Diet & Feeding
Loxigilla portoricensis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
