Mesembriornis incertus was a phorusrhacid terror bird from the late Miocene-Pliocene of Argentina. One of the latest surviving members of this predatory family, it stood ~1.5m tall and was a fast-running cursorial predator with a massive hooked beak for killing prey.
Diet & Feeding
Ludiortyx hoffmanni was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
