Nupharanassa bulotorum is an extinct Eocene raptor-like bird from Egypt. Known from the Fayum Depression deposits, it documents diverse carnivorous birds in the Eocene Tethys-margin environments of North Africa.
Diet & Feeding
Nupharanassa bulotorum was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
