<dinofyi-dinosaur slug="oligosylphe"></dinofyi-dinosaur>Oligosylphe is an extinct Paleogene bird from Belgium, possibly related to swifts or hummingbirds (Apodiformes). These small fast-flying insectivorous birds document the ancient Cenozoic diversification of aerial foragers in Europe.
Diet & Feeding
Oligosylphe was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
