Otus grucheti is an extinct scops-owl from an uncertain island locality. Like other island scops-owls, this Quaternary bird likely evolved reduced dispersal ability on an oceanic island and became extinct following human settlement.
Diet & Feeding
Otus grucheti was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
