Otus guildayi is an extinct Quaternary scops-owl from the United States. Known from Pleistocene deposits in the southwestern US, it inhabited warm open woodland or scrub habitats before the end-Pleistocene climatic and faunal changes.

Otus guildayi was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
