Threskiornis bernieri (Malagasy sacred ibis) is an extinct ibis from Madagascar, closely related to the African sacred ibis. It was hunted to extinction after human colonization of Madagascar, possibly surviving into historical times before final disappearance.
Diet & Feeding
Threskiornis bernieri was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
