Uria paleohesperis is an extinct murre from Pliocene or Pleistocene deposits of the United States, documented from Pacific coast sites. Multiple fossil Uria species from California and Oregon document the rich Neogene diving seabird fauna of the eastern Pacific.

Uria paleohesperis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
