Urubitinga enecta is an extinct hawk from Pleistocene deposits of North America, related to living zone-tailed and great black hawks of the genus Urubitinga. Its fossils document the past presence of large Neotropical-type raptors in Quaternary North America.

Urubitinga enecta was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
