Viator picis is an extinct bird from Peru, assigned to an extinct charadriiform or similar group. Fossil shorebirds from Peruvian Neogene deposits document the diverse community of wading and coastal birds along the ancient Pacific coast of South America.
Diet & Feeding
Viator picis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
