Vini is a genus of small lorikeets native to Polynesia, with multiple extinct species known from archaeological and fossil sites. These colorful nectar-feeding parrots experienced dramatic range contractions following Polynesian and European colonization of Pacific islands.
Diet & Feeding
Vini was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
