Vultur is the genus of living condors in the family Cathartidae, with the Andean condor (Vultur gryphus) being the living representative. Fossil material from the United States documents past condor distribution in North America, where the species is now absent.
Diet & Feeding
Vultur was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
