Yongjinglong datangi

† Yongjinglong datangi is an Early Cretaceous titanosaur from the Hekou Formation of Gansu Province, China. Known from a subadult specimen, it represents a somphospondylan titanosaur, contributing to knowledge of early titanosaur diversification in China.

Diet & Feeding

Herbivore

Yongjinglong datangi was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
