Zapornia pusilla (little crake) is a small rail native to wetlands across Eurasia and Africa, including Egypt. A secretive bird of reedbeds and marsh edges, it is more often heard than seen, producing a repeated 'kew-kew' call from within dense vegetation.
Diet & Feeding
Zapornia pusilla was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
