Dromaeosaurinae

Dromaeosaurinae

†Dromaeosaurinae is the subfamily of dromaeosaurids containing Dromaeosaurus and its close relatives, known from the Late Cretaceous of North America and Asia. These robust-skulled carnivores were effective predators capable of dispatching large prey. Their wide geographic distribution across Laurasian landmasses reflects the cosmopolitan nature of Late Cretaceous dromaeosaurids.
