Levnesovia transoxiana

Levnesovia transoxiana

† Majungasaurus crenatissimus was the apex predator of Late Cretaceous Madagascar, an abelisaurid theropod ~6-7m long. Its distinctive rugose skull ornamentation and evidence of cannibalism distinguish it; being isolated on Madagascar, it evolved independently from mainland abelisaurids.
