† Nanuqsaurus hoglundi is a Late Cretaceous tyrannosaurid from Alaska's Prince Creek Formation. A dwarf tyrannosaur at ~6 m long compared to relatives, it adapted to polar conditions and Arctic seasonal darkness in North America.
Diet & Feeding
Nanuqsaurus hoglundi was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
