† Panoplosaurus mirus was a nodosaurid ankylosaur dinosaur from the Campanian of Alberta, Canada. A large herbivore approximately 6 m long and ~3,000 kg, it possessed dense osteoderms across its back and flanks. Fossils from the Horseshoe Canyon Formation preserve detailed armor.
