† Yuornis junchangi is a Late Cretaceous bird from the Qingshan Formation of Shandong Province, China, one of the few Late Cretaceous birds known from eastern China. Its preservation adds to the sparse avian record from Chinese Campanian-Maastrichtian deposits.
