Breagyps clarki is an extinct New World vulture from Pleistocene deposits of Mexico and the southwestern United States. This large carnivorous accipitrid inhabited arid and semi-arid landscapes of Pleistocene North America and fed on the carcasses of Ice Age megafauna. Its extinction coincides with the terminal Pleistocene megafaunal collapse approximately 11,000 years ago.
