Caririchnium billsarjeanti

† Caririchnium billsarjeanti is an ornithopod dinosaur ichnospecies from the Early Cretaceous of Switzerland. Comprising large, tridactyl herbivore footprints attributed to an iguanodontian dinosaur, the trackways were found in Early Cretaceous carbonate deposits. Named in honor of ichnologist William A.S. Sarjeant, this Swiss material represents an important trace fossil record of large ornithopod activity in central Europe during the Hauterivian to Barremian ages.
