†Dasornis emuinus is an extinct pelagornithid seabird, one of the earliest described members of the bony-toothed bird family. Originally named from London Clay Eocene material, this giant oceanic carnivore used serrated pseudo-teeth to capture fish. Its fossils are among the first giant extinct birds documented by European paleontologists.
