† Opisthodactylus horacioperezi was a small dromaeosaurid theropod from the Late Cretaceous of Argentina. Part of the diverse South American dromaeosaurid fauna that evolved distinct lineages from North American relatives following the separation of the Americas.

Megapaloelodus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
