Timimus hermani

† Timimus hermani is the type species of Timimus, from the Eumeralla Formation of Victoria. Named for Tim Rich and Tim Flannery, it represents a long-legged ostrich mimic in polar Early Cretaceous Australia, a remarkable geographic outlier for this group.
