Badistornis aramus is an extinct rallid or limpkin-like bird from Eocene or Oligocene deposits of the United States. This carnivorous wading bird is known from fragmentary material and may be related to extant Aramus guarauna (the limpkin). It provides evidence for the early diversification of gruiform birds in North America during the Paleogene.
Diet & Feeding
