† Palaeoborus rosatus was an extinct falconid raptor (Falconiformes) from the United States. A carnivorous bird of the Miocene, it inhabited North American open habitats and woodlands. Fossils contribute to reconstructing the evolutionary history of New World falcons.
Diet & Feeding
Palaeoborus rosatus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
