† Gallinuloides — an extinct Eocene galliform bird genus from Denmark. Herbivorous ground-bird; early representative of Galliformes (chickens, pheasants, etc.). Eocene European galliforms include several genera now placed in uncertain positions. Fur Formation specimens provide early Cenozoic galli.
