† Mantellisaurus atherfieldensis was a gracile iguanodontid from the Early Cretaceous of England and Belgium. At ~7m and ~1,200kg, it was more lightly built than Iguanodon, with proportionally larger forelimbs, and could transition between bipedal and quadrupedal locomotion.
Diet & Feeding
Lewisuchus admixtus was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
