<dinofyi-dinosaur slug="metopidius-indicus"></dinofyi-dinosaur>Metopidius indicus, the Bronze-winged Jacana, is a wading bird of South and Southeast Asia. About 28-29cm long, it walks on lily pads using long toes, feeds on aquatic insects and molluscs. A living dinosaur descendant with polyandrous mating behavior. Found in India, Sri Lanka, and mainland Southeast Asia.
Diet & Feeding
Metopidius indicus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
