Sternalara minuta is a second extinct Eocene tern species from France, distinguished from S. milneedwardsi by its smaller size. These early terns document the initial diversification of the family that today numbers over 40 species worldwide.
Diet & Feeding
Sternalara minuta was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
