Brontopodus triangularis

† Brontopodus triangularis is a Late Jurassic sauropod ichnospecies from the Lourinhã Formation of Portugal. These large herbivore trackways with triangular manus impressions are attributed to brachiosaurid sauropods and represent part of the rich Portuguese Late Jurassic ichnological record. They contribute to understanding the diversity of sauropod locomotion and behavior in Jurassic Laurasia.
