† Gallirallus gracilitibia — an extinct rail with slender tibiae from a Pacific island. Flightless island rail; the gracile tibia (gracilitibia) suggests a light-footed terrestrial lifestyle. Omnivore; became extinct following human colonization. Part of the pre-human Pacific island rail fauna.
Diet & Feeding
Gallirallus gracilitibia was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
