Acrocephalus is a large genus of Old World warblers (family Acrocephalidae) with both living and extinct species. The genus spans Europe, Asia, Africa, and Pacific islands. Several island species became extinct after human colonization. Fossil species from the Pliocene and Pleistocene extend the lineage's known history by millions of years.
Diet & Feeding
Acrocephalus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
